I finally made AI do the work (not just think)
Week of Jan 12-18, 2026
This week broke me. Then it didn't.
6 Spaces. 6 days straight.
Monday through Saturday, I showed up. 9:30 AM. Every single day. Talking about AI, teaching what I'm learning, building in public.
Some days 5 people joined. Some days 20. Didn't matter. I showed up.
That's the game. You just keep showing up.
The MCP saga
For 2-3 days, I tried to set up MCP (Model Context Protocol) - the thing that lets Claude actually connect to my Notion workspace.
Failed. Postponed. Came back. Failed again.
Today? It finally worked.
72 hours ago: I copy-pasted everything manually between Claude and Notion. Write in Claude. Copy. Paste to Notion. Repeat 50 times a day.
Today: Claude reads my Notion directly. Writes posts. Updates my product modules. No copy-paste. No manual transfer.
AI went from "thinking partner" to "doing partner."
Using AI to generate articles = level 1.
The real power is when AI actually DOES things in your systems.
What I built this week
My product AIOS (AI Operating System) now has a clear structure:
LEARN tab: AI teaches you concepts personalized to your goals
PRACTICE tab: AI gives you exercises and grades your work
CREATE tab: AI helps you build real outputs
8 modules. 116 concepts. 44 practice exercises. 112 posts.
All organized. All connected. Ready for March 1 launch.
The future of business
Friday's Space on "How Solopreneurs Actually Make Money With AI" hit different.
Key insight: AI multiplies your expertise. It doesn't replace it.
AI × Deep expertise = Massive leverage AI × Zero expertise = Zero
If you're using AI to enter a field you know nothing about, you'll produce obvious garbage. But if you're using AI to multiply what you already know deeply? That's where the magic happens.
Fun fact
Some random person hosted a Space about me this week. Tagged me and everything. I didn't join - too busy actually building. But it reminded me: when you show up consistently, people notice. Even when you think nobody's watching.
Your action this week
Pick ONE thing you do manually with AI right now (copy-pasting, reformatting, transferring information).
Ask yourself: "Can AI do this directly in my system instead of me being the middleman?"
If the answer is yes, figure out how. MCP, Zapier, Make, whatever. Remove yourself from the mechanical work.
You don't need to be fast. You need to be consistent.
AI handles the speed. You handle the showing up.
See you next week.

P.S. If you want to learn how to build your own AI Operating System, reply "AIOS" and I'll tell you more about what I'm building for March.
